Snoop Confirms Dr. Dre's Detox Is Coming

Rapper Snoop Dogg recently left the recording studio, recording tracks for Dr. Dre's highly anticipated album, Detox. "That record is real it's coming," Snoop Dogg said during an interview today (June 25) on Big Boy's Neighborhood. "You know me, I was starting to doubt it myself and then I went up in there and he played so much music for me it knocked my head off."

Snoop Dogg confirmed the fabled, decade-long project was finished and that the Doctor was selecting tracks for the album.

"I see what he got them waiting for, it's on and poppin," Snoop Dogg said. "He got records, he got heat."

Dr. Dre will also sit in the producer's seat for Snoop Dogg's upcoming album.

"Yea he's doing my next album. I got the title and everything," Snoop confirmed without revealing the album's title.

As previously reported, Interscope Geffen A&M Records recently signed a deal with Drinks Americas to put out alcoholic beverages. Drinks Americas recently said it would introduce Aftermath Cognac in the next two months. The company will also put out a flavored and unflavored 80-proof sparkling vodka that does not have a name yet.
According to Drinks Americas fourth quarter earnings statement, the Aftermath Cognac and sparkling vodka will be introduced at the same time as Dr. Dre's Detox album, which he told USA Today would be out in November or December.
