Lil Wayne - Prom Queen

Well AJ called it, I didn't believe him or for that matter Drake but I guess Wayne is actually going to go through with this. At first when Yeezy started his musical experimentation with 808's I was sketical, but it eventually grew on me. But Wayne and rock might be a little hard to get used to after all this is the first single of Rebirth it looks like.
Lil Wayne - Prom Queen [Props to NMC]

Flo-Rida Feat. Chris Brown - Sweat

Many artists turn up, make great debuts, or perhaps even turn out to become One-Hit wonders... But this dosen't seem to be the case with Flo Rida as with tracks like: 'Touch Me' & 'Round And Round' that's for sure. Apparently there were some clearense issues with this joint, so it can't be on the new album: 'R.O.O.T.S.'
Flo-Rida Feat. Chris Brown - Sweat

Keri Hilson Feat. T.I. - Turn Me On

Seriously, Ms. Hilson. I speak for the whole fucking male contingent on this universe (Not including Sonu's and Gupta's), when iSay; You've accomplished you goal with this track, by simply being yourself, lol...

Kicks: Nike RT1 High Top - The ‘Un-Yeezys’

"Due to the Air Yeezy hype, Nike created another silhouette that resembles the Air Yeezy. Once people heard they favored the Yeezy’s the buzz was building for images of Nike’s RT1 to leak. The tongue and heel is exactly the same as the Air Yeezy’s, so if you’re unable to cop the Yeezy’s in March you can always score a pair of the all black RT1 Hi’s in April."

"Black on Black RT1 Hi’s will kick things off in June. The neutral grey/green mist/cool grey RT1’s drop in May and the white/pure purple RT1 Hi lands in June. “I’d rather have the Yeezy’s“, that’s what most people will be screaming, but look on the bright side, the RT1 High will only cost you $95. At the end of the day, the RT1 High is going to be a great substitute for people that can’t get the Yeezy’s."

So fucking dope. iDon't know which one's to cop this or the Yeezy's, it's either one or the other I'm getting mind-fucked here. Grazie, TheShoeGame.

They were quite popular down here a while ago, and come down here for a tour aswell if I remember correct. The hook up with none other that Priemo on this joint.

Aliaune Damala Bouga Time Bongo Puru Nacka Lu Lu Lu Badara Akon Thiam. No, this is not a line for an African folk song, but it is the name of a revolutionary genius. Like many, Akon begun his career at a very young age and most of his songs are inspired by his "jail time." His first hit single "Locked up" is a song that Akon wrote on his experiences in jail which cemented his place in the music scene. It was also on his first album "Trouble" in which songs such as "Lonely" and "Belly Dancer" summarize what Akon is all about. Now its 2 albums later and a whole lotta hits and Akon is out with his 3rd Studio Album.

Kon begins his album on a soft note with Right Now, it sets the tone of the whole album as soft and chilled out. Akon is still rapping about the ladies as he has been in his previous albums with "I wanna Love you" and "Smack That". He demonstrates his "playful" side in tracks such as "Beautiful" and "Troublemaker", these two tracks are amazing and Kon turns up the heat with "Beautiful". However there are tracks such as "Be with you" and "Keep you much longer" which set a tragic melody. In these tracks Kon gets a bit boring and you just want to skip the track. Never the less Konvict shows that he can murda a soft track with "Over the Edge"; this track was blazin, it really makes you think and the hook is hottt. And of course Weezy and Jeezy on one track with "I'm so paid", who better than them right? Although Jeezy makes it boring, Weezy totally kills it with his verse. Twoards the end of the Album we come to the last track, "Freedom". It was a bit of a suprise, cuz akon tries Auto-Tune, and Akon + Auto-Tune= Disaster!!!!! So Basically Kon with an OK album not as hot as his previous two. I feel that akon needs to get some more collabs on his album like T.I and Luda. A verse or hook from them woulda spiced the album up.

Final Rating: 7.5/10

Video: Nike Zoom Kobe IV iD - Kobe Bryant + Mike Epps + DJ AM

Video: Dave Chappelle's The Niggar Family

Oh lawd! This throwback me laughing for a 3minutes and 32seconds straight, Dave Chappelle's done it again, this is some genius shit! And, by the way I'm telling y'all straight up: Dave Chappelle > Russell Peters. Real Talk, douches!

2009. What It Do, CuDi...

Yeah, yeah, yeah. People it's 2009. So, what are you going to be looking out from a musical perspecitive for the coming 364 days ahead? Well, there are the obvious albums which people are going to be for, no dis-respect to: Jay-Z's Blueprint III, 50 Cent's Before I Self Distruct, Eminem's first album in 4 years, and of course, dare I say, Dr. Dre's Detox are all going to (Oh I mentioned Detox) supposed to drop in the coming this year. Yes, all of those albums are going to have crazy production, features, and what-not, but, the album which I'm looking forward to the most is a certain debut album by KiD CuDi. Aiight. Now for the reasoning, there is a certain 'vibe?' about Kid, from which I reckon, is going to pleasure to my ears, in a wierd Indie, mashed with Hip-Hop and, topped off with Electro (Yes, my fucked up musical taste plays a part in this), which I know I'm going to think is dope. Also, if you look at look at the way the album is coming about it's gonna be dope, the Day N Night is going to be directed by So Me (who by the way directed&produced probably the 2Dopest Music Videos' ever in: Justice's D.A.N.C.E. & Kanye West's Good Life) just from that you know the music video is going to be dope, and will be interesting what So Me comes up with after the success of the two former videos. As for the album itself, cosidering Cudi himself said it was going to be 10x the mixtape (which iThought was easily one of the best of 08') all signs are leading to something up my alley. Potential production by Yeezy, Ryan Leslie(confirmed), Illfonics, and Cudi himself! As for collaborations the possiblities are crazy, but I think we might see Travis McCoy, Wale, Yeezy, & Keri Hilson(lmfao), perhaps? Anyways, watch those KiD CuDi scrobbles go into overdrive when the album drops, I'm going to buy. By the way, CuDi is listed in both NME's & Pitchfork's Artists to Lookout for in 09' check out those lists. That's what I'm looking forward to, what did you say again? Lol...

Check out KiD CuDi Blog...

Travis McCoy - Let's Get It On

Yessir. The first of hopefully many tracks on here this year, this is Travis' first track after officially becoming a Nappy Boy, I know loads of people want to hear his solo shit. If so, you'd be glad to know that his mixtape called: 'Def Comedy Jam Vol. 1' should be dropping soon. Ya dig... Oh, and, Happy New Year, douches! =D
